    Rain is a tough chick as well as a dedicated soldier.  She is good friends with JD Salinas and hangs back with him to guard the prisoner while the other team members move on to the computer mainframe.  Unfortunately for her, during this time she encounters a zombie and loses a chunk of her hand to it, thus infecting her with the T-virus.  Later on, she loses her cool after JD gets killed and she later sees him as a zombie.  Even with the virus in her system, she manages to hold out until her and the team escape on the train.  Dispite the antidote she was given, she becomes a zombie and Matt is forced to shoot her.
