    Like Alice, Spencer has been gased by the Red Queen and temporarily suffers from memory loss.  Kind of a quiet type, he wears the same wedding band as Alice, unfortunately he has no recollection of marrying her.  As his memory returns to him we learn his dark secret.  Later on, he turns traitor and steals the T-virus and its antidote for profit.  Abandoning the rest of the group, he heads for the train to the surface.  However, his escape is short-lived once the licker finds and kills him.  His death seems to make the licker more powerful, and he later returns as a zombie only to be killed by Alice.
